I am very passionate about health insurance covering massage therapy and with the new Obamacare that is going to happen. However alternative therapies being covered by your insurance is going to be done on a state by state basis. This is where you come in, we need to flood our insurance commissioners office with letters letting them know that you want alternative therapies to be cover by your health insurance.

Governor Deval Patrick has already proclaimed October 21 - 27 to be massage therapy awareness week in our state. Which is a step in the right direction.
