The story behind Deep Relief Massage Therapy (and how I can help)

If you’re dealing with persistent tension, stress you can’t seem to “turn off,” or a body that just doesn’t feel like it used to, massage can be a practical next step. I’m Jessica Weagle, a licensed massage therapist in West Boylston, and my work is centered on helping local clients feel real, lasting relief—without pressure or hype.

How I got here (and why I still love this work)
My path into massage therapy started with a fall from a horse. I landed hard and went for massage to recover—and it helped in a way I didn’t expect. I remember thinking, “This is what I want to do.” That experience stuck with me because it wasn’t just about sore muscles. It was about feeling better in your body and getting your life back.

That’s the feeling I aim to help create for my clients now: the kind of relief that makes your day easier—moving, working, sleeping, training, and just being present.

Who I help (and what you can expect)
Most of my clients are local to West Boylston and the surrounding Worcester area, and they come in for things like:
- Neck/shoulder and upper-back tension from desk work or stress
- Low-back tightness and general “stiff and sore” patterns
- Headaches tied to tension
- Athletes and runners who want to recover well and stay mobile
- People who want to relax deeply and feel calmer in their bodies
- Clients who need more specialized support, such as lymphatic or gentle craniosacral work (when appropriate)

If you’re new to massage, I’ll walk you through what I’m doing and why, and I’ll keep the session grounded in your comfort level. My goal is that you leave feeling listened to—and better.

My approach (in plain language)
Different bodies need different kinds of work. Depending on what you’re coming in for, I may draw from:
- Myofascial release — to address stubborn tightness and restricted movement
- Craniosacral therapy — gentle work that can be supportive for stress and nervous-system downshifting
- Manual lymphatic drainage — a lighter technique used to support lymphatic flow and swelling concerns (when appropriate)

No jargon required. We’ll focus on what you’re feeling, what you want to change, and what type of work tends to help.

Training and experience
I’ve been practicing massage therapy since 2001. I graduated from Central Mass School of Massage with honors  and continue to invest in advanced training so I can serve clients with a wider range of needs—especially the clients who’ve tried “the usual” and still don’t feel quite right.
